The influence of David L. Schindler's thought on my life cannot be overstated. This was a wonderful conversation with his son, David C. Schindler, and Reuben Slife of New Polity who has done extensive research on the thought of David Schindler. I am joined by my former colleague, Rodney Howsare. And a shout out to my Australian friend, the theologian Tom Gourlay whose article on Schindler in Church Life Journal helped me to frame this conversation.
